We've partnered with GaugeFaces.com to make a set of faces that really pops!
Factory silver gauge faces look great, but we've seen comments that they don't have enough contrast in certain lighting conditions. We can fix that - using black on pure white gives just that extra bit of sharpness over silver when the sun's up, and once it goes down, more transparency in the backlight mask lets the stock bulbs shine much brighter. It took months of revisions to make sure the backlight remains even and comfortable like OEM, but now we have highly contrasting, easy-to-read gauges at any time of day.
Topping things off, the high-rpm half of the tach scale gets the vintage Porsche treatment, both a subtle reminder to stay in the lower half before the oil warms up and a way to make the redline more obvious when the needle's really moving. It also perfectly encapsulates our half-past, half-future inspired design philosophy, so we're very happy with how these turned out.
We currently have designs for all the 996.2 Carrera variants - US, EU, and UK, Tiptronic and manual. 996.1 and Turbo/GT3/GT2 can be made upon request. Unlike our other products, these faces cannot be customized - we only have our one design at this price, any other design has to go back to GaugeFaces.com to fulfill your custom requirements.
